Trail Grading System... Ideas?

I'm looking a trail site grading system:

Here are some starter ideas

1. Levels 1,2,3 (I, II, III)

Level 1 will be flat and it will ALWAY have a segment that's handicap "friendly".
Level 2 will more challenging, but not be a full blown National Forest... more clear definition to follow
Level 3 will be full "featured" C. C. Deam for example.

Anyway this will take a lot more study, but I want it simple and meaninful.

Monday musings...

Today's post is about general planning.

I've come to some decisions on the true purpose of this blog. Right now I'm basically looking at it being a place I can jot down information of cool places to walk. (All will be a reasonable distance from Bloomington, Indiana.)

Special attention will be made to make sure that a clear rating for "difficulty" is presented. I'm seriously overweight, and have issues with arthritis which nukes my joints occasionally. Still I've been able, and continue to enjoy a very active outdoor life.

There's a trick to that, and that's exactly what I'm intending to share... that, and a more general purpose of improving my health along the way this year.

Refocus...

Well it's been months since I started this Blog, and as you can see, events have conspired from me doing a darn thing to it. Much more significantly the constant pressure of my job, and Grad School, and most importantly my poor planning, has pretty much got me off my feet.

(That and a bad foot injury to the tendon of my foot.)

So this journal needs a major redirection! Maybe this is a good time to look sharing some of the important things I've learned over the last 15 years about recovering my health!
